It rained that morning. Figures, since we had left our umbrella and raincoats back at the hotel. Luckily, it ended in about 45 minutes, right after we bought rain ponchos. Luck favors the prepared. It was uber cloudy in the morning, clearing up a little bit when the sun came out later in the afternoon.
The world's tallest (326 m) outdoor elevator (self-proclaimed).
The world's first natural bridge (self-proclaimed).
My legs haven't felt this sore since post-Thanksgiving Day track practice back in high school.
I have the utmost respect and sympathy for the people who built these steps.
